The position: Project Manager

Being a project management pro

• Partner with internal teams (especially your Account Manager) to see all projects through from start to finish

• Create and maintain project plans & timelines that will allow us to deliver work to our clients on time and on budget

• Be able to embrace the fact that plans and timelines are living and breathing pieces that has the potential to change and evolve

• Act as a liaison between SRH and outside vendors

• Manage project budgets, both on an hours/effort and out of pocket with markup basis

• Quarterback the budget and advise the Account Manager if the scope requires adjustments

• Manage internal workflow and adjust as needed including scheduling key internal touchpoints

• Collaborate with others to assign and manage resources on a micro and macro level, keeping your eyes on the road ahead for potential roadblocks

• Develop and maintain internal status reports — hold project and team status meetings as needed to ensure internal and external milestones are being met

• Manage bookings and ensure the correct assets and products are on hand for each project phase as needed

• Overall, act as air traffic controller, ensuring smooth take-offs and landings on all projects in your portfolio

Being a quality control expert

• Ensure what was promised gets delivered

• Proof everything and ensure all the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed

Being an active participant in a collaborative team environment

Your toolset

• Google Suite; including email, calendars, docs, slides and sheets

• Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT

• Productive.io (project and resource management software)

Requirements

• 3-5 years proven experience in client service, preferably in a marketing/design environment

• Strong knowledge of project budget management, including estimating

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to multi-task in high-pressure situations

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to thrive in a very collaborative environment

• Must live in the Milwaukee Metro area

• Must be vaccinated for Covid-19
